The Fruit Of The Spirit
Heavens Real Life Savers
Believers are designed to experience the Spirit Filled Life.
I Corinthians 6:19-20 Ephesians 5:17-18
Failing to walk in the Spirit is to live beneath our dignity.
It is not the “Fruits” of the Spirit, But the “Fruit” of the Spirit.
Yet the Fruit of the Spirit comes in nine wonderful flavors.
What are they? I’m glad you would want to know.
Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, and Temperance
These describe the Fruit of the Spirit.
As the multicolor life savers we have enjoyed, these all come with the Fruit of the Spirit.
Again, Heaven’s Fruit of the Spirit comes in nine wonderful flavors.
Charles Humphrey has made an interesting explanation of the Fruit of the Spirit.
He has said “The Fruit of the Spirit (operates in) love.”
John 3:16, John 15:13, I John 4:10
- Joy is love’s strength Nehemiah 8:10
- Peace is love’s security Isaiah 26:3, Romans 5:1
- Longsuffering is love’s patience I Corinthians 10:13, James 1:2-4
- Gentleness is love’s conduct Matthew 7:12
- Goodness is love’s character Romans 12:1-2
- Faith is love’s confidence Philippians 1:6
- Meekness is love’s humility I Peter 5:5-6, James 4:10
- Temperance is love’s victory I John 5:4-5
“Against such there is no love.”
Every believer may be assured experiencing the Spirit Filled Life will come with the Fruit of the Spirit.
The choice is ours. Galatians 5:16-17 or Galatians 5:22-23
In Christ,
Pastor David Hart
